I’ve been providing IT Consultancy and data management software solutions in London since the early 90s, latterly moving to Devon in 2010.
I’ve worked in varied environments ranging from the Voluntary Housing Sector to Retail Management and Web Management positions for a national specialist sports retailer, so I’m at home understanding the needs of working with smaller businesses and or Not For Profit organisations and larger sized size commercial entities to provide affordable solutions to their information management and web presence requirements.
I understand the need to listen to a Client’s requirements, that a for a small business any investment in a website is not undertaken lightly and that it’s important to get it right first time, making it user friendly and easy to update. If it’s too hard to update, you won’t want to keep it current and fresh and help interest new visitors to your site.
I specialise in MS Access driven database development, MS Excel data manipulation & PHP/MySQL Content Management System driven web site creation. I also deliver graphic design work for web and print.
As an advocate of Open source software, I thought it was only right that I should use it on my own site. The cost of this software is nothing, free. If I create your site, you pay me for my time, knowledge, experience and nothing more. I won’t suggest a costly bespoke software solution if I know there’s a perfectly serviceable application already available.
